5 Open Secrets of your beloved Gmail

Gmail is the mother ship of all the google services now, right from google drive to google app store. You use Gmail hundreds of time during a week but these secret 5 features will help you make your Gmail super effective and work life efficient.

Five open Secrets of Gmail.

 1.       Smart compose

Smart Compose is an awesome new feature that was added to Gmail last year, and it can save you a ton of time. In a nutshell, the feature predicts what you’re going to type and lets you insert predicted words or entire phrases by pressing the tab key on a computer or by tapping the space at the end of the predicted phrase on a smartphone. Enable it on the General tab in your Gmail settings by scrolling down to “Smart Compose” and clicking the button next to “Writing suggestions on.” You’ll get generic suggestions by default, or you can enable personalization to allow Google to keep track of your writing style and offer personalized suggestions.

2.Send confidential email

This is one of the most underutilized feature but is really a gem of feature when it comes to business    emailing. There are some content and files that you have to share it because  your client, investors or somebody you could not say no,asked for it, but you are afraid   that the email may get forwarded, downloaded, printed or copied and land up some where you don't want to. This feature exactly prevents all of   this, with this you can also set up an expiry date to that particular email and the email will be deleted     automatically at  that time. One more thing this email can be set with a PASSCODE and without the pass code the email cannot be accessed. This passcode is sent via SMS.

This is an amazing feature if and when you are really working on some secret project or some deal.

3.   Nudges-

If you are really not an email person and mostly work with SMS or Whatapps this feature will help    you if you keep the notification center 'on' for your email. Nudge-basically is a default feature of  all gmail accounts that reminds you about your old not read or you have sent an email and forgot to followup- this features helps you by putting those emails back to your inbox when it is appropriate along with suggestion to follow up or  reply.

To activate this feature go to “Gmail Settings’s” Scroll down to general setting to enable it.

4.Find emails by date

It’s yet another simple but hidden gem and a savior in times of situations where you need to find a particular email or bunch of them. Finding email by dates is pretty simple but, highly effective  way to find your old or really old emails.

In the Search bar of your gmail you just have to type “ before:1/1/19” or “after: 1/12/19” that will narrow down your bulk of emails to that date frame or the date that you think you had emailed it. Of course if date is what you don’t remember, you can key in words that  relevant to that email you are searching and give an approximate date – before: or after :

5.Email scheduling

Most important feature when you are in extremely tight schedule or travelling or handling an event.

Scheduling your email is mostly used when you don’t want to make the recipient feel that you are too eager for it but you want to draft you email immediately and then want to send it some time later you should absolutely use the scheduler feature.

The email scheduler is highly effective when it comes to sending reminders, or asking for certain reports that are periodic and also if you are going to be busy tomorrow but you want that email to reach the recipient tomorrow you just have to punch in your email and schedule it.

This is simple but too much effective for your work efficiency.

Zappos and the Unexpected Pizza Delivery! - customer obsession at its best.

Zappos and the Unexpected Pizza Delivery Zappos, the online shoe retailer, is well known for its customer-obsessed culture, but one story stands out as the perfect example of going above and beyond. A woman visiting Las Vegas with friends stayed at a hotel but was unable to order a late-night pizza after the hotel's room service had closed. As a joke, one of her friends suggested she call Zappos, knowing how famous they were for their customer service, even though Zappos obviously didn't sell pizza. She called Zappos, explained her situation, and instead of brushing her off or apologizing, the Zappos customer service agent took the time to find nearby pizza places that were open late, then placed an order on her behalf. This story spread far and wide, exemplifying how Zappos didn’t just aim to fulfill shoe orders; their customer service team was genuinely focused on solving whatever problem the customer had, regardless of what it was. It showed that Zappos' customer obses
