We in India are enjoying the internet penetration on healthy scale. Mobile Internet has made it more accessible and affordable in many cases. But many businesses and professional in tier 2 and 3 cities are not ready and equipped to harness this internet access among the common consumers. So if we search any local business or professional we don’t find them on internet or many who are, don’t have a strong presence in terms of website and other social media profile. Upon that now ‘app’, is knocking the door big time. So many businesses and professionals are not equipped at all make most of this opportunity.
You might ask why I would need app for my business or profession. I am not a social media.
True but there is basic difference between an app and a website. Mostly we have our websites as static information portal to potential clients and consumers. But app is not just about that. App can be much more powerful tool than you can imagine. You can handle and manage entire business operations on the app without investing huge sums as you do in ERP or other heavy duty software’s. Also each and every employee of yours will be in touch with you on your app removing a huge barrier both physical and mental between the teams.
App brings in the real time information flow making small and big decisions equally efficiently without loss of valuable collective time of the teams.
App also enable real time visual inputs via, photos, videos or voice clips.
App with augmented reality are making production and operations - ‘zero Error’
One more important aspect of app driven management is the data and information security and end to end monitoring of the activities to avoid leakage of vital information.
While ideating an app for your organization it’s very easy to start with only one section say, sales section to work on app and later as you get better results you can add each department from time to time even accounts and logistics. One important thing about app is you can develop any complex application and still save time of development because you can modulate it as per your requirement.
It is very fascinating that every professional or business any size one may be can own an app and make your business efficient.
